I was testing out loaf recipes for potential gifts. This makes a delicious appetizer accompanied with homemade rhubarb chutney and aged cheddar cheese. It would make a great hostess gift. (And yes, 2014 brings with it the goal that if someone is nice enough to invite me to a dinner party, I will be “with it” enough to bring a hostess gift).
