One winter’s day in Cavendish, National Park.
I rarely go to Cavendish Beach in the summer due to the crowds. I can count the number of times on one hand. In the winter, however, it is a beautiful, ghost-of-a-place to be. There was not another soul around except for a wild, white hare that sprinted across the road.
As you can see; the air was brisk, the sun was bright, the marram grass was dead and golden, the sky was cerulean and the frozen pond was black.
Cavendish is a beautiful half-hour drive from Charlottetown so it makes for a quick winter road-trip and hike. Remember to pack your own snacks ’cause there ain’t much that stays open in Cavendish past September (i.e. when the tourists leave).
Awesome read with, as usual, very vivid descriptions !!!!!!!!
Thank you! It was a very vivid day ❤️
